MIKE TINDALL JOINS THE TEAM FOR A DAY
A visit from Foundation patron Mike Tindall provided a highlight to another hectic week at the Get Busy Living Centre.
Mike and Foundation ambassadors Jack van Poortvliet and Freddie Steward from Leicester Tigers were welcomed by Matt and the team as they met beneficiaries and checked out progress on the extension work at the Centre which will increase capacity and facilities for visitors.
“I really believe in what Hambo does and what the ‘Get Busy Living’ motto means in that we are providing opportunities for people,” Mike said.

“If you don’t know about those opportunities and what it is about, you can’t do it. I see part of my role as emphasising that noise.
“It’s not just beneficiaries either – family and friends really see the benefit too. A lot of people are affected when there is a life-changing injury or illness and they all need support, and that is what they receive here.”
