SUTTY HITS A CENTURY IN SUPPORT OF THE FOUNDATION
A member of the Matt Hampson Foundation team has achieved a personal milestone by completing an ultra-marathon while raising funds to support work with young people seriously injured through sport.
Foundation personal trainer Sutty, who works with beneficiaries at the Get Busy Living Centre, completed the London to Brighton Ultra Challenge, covering 100km (62 miles) alongside his friend Greg.
He had previously run the London Marathon and Leeds Half-Marathon during the build-up to his latest challenge.
“It was incredibly challenging but we managed it,” Sutty said on social media. “Thanks to everyone for their support throughout the day. Your encouragement truly made a difference when we were struggling. I am also grateful to everyone who sponsored me by donating to the Matt Hampson Foundation.”
Fundraising has already topped £3,800 and the Just Giving page is still open here.
