STRONG SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE FIELD AT LONDON MARATHON
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the London Marathon while raising sponsorship for the Matt Hampson Foundation.
Events of this size provide an annual opportunity to spread awareness of the Foundation’s work with young people after life-changing injury while also generating important income to take that work to even more beneficiaries.
Get Busy Living Centre personal trainer Sutty finished the 26-mile distance well inside his target of 4 hours as he continued his preparation to run an ultra-marathon, wheelchair racer Josh set a great time of 2hr 9min in his marathon debut and the Foundation was represented by the amazing efforts of runners throughout the field, all proudly wearing their Foundation vests, as well as a number of supporters who provided encouragement from around the course.
This was a second big turn-out for the Foundation in London in a matter of weeks with another group including runners, frame runners and wheelchair users previously taking part in the London Landmarks Half-Marathon.
If you are looking to take part in a running event while also supporting the Foundation, you can find entries to a number of events overseas through a partnership with RealBuzz or click this link for hundreds of events throughout the UK listed by Run For Charity including runs over distances from 1K to full marathon, triathlon, obstacle races and bungee jumps.
