TEAM BRIT DRIVERS GET THE MOTORSPORT SEASON IN GEAR

Noah Cosby began his season driving in the Britcar Endurance Championship with fourth-place and second-place finishes in the opening round at Silverstone.

After a full day of testing and then the qualifying session on Saturday, teams faced two 45-minute races in the new-look championship which has named the Matt Hampson Foundation as its chosen charity this year.

Foundation beneficiary Noah, aged 20, and his Team BRIT colleague Caleb McDuff finished fourth in their category in the first race of the day in a McLaren and then backed-up with second place in the final race of the day.

Aaron Morgan, the beneficiary who first introduced Noah to Team BRIT after meeting at the Foundation’s Get Busy Living Centre, drove alongside Paul Fullick to cross the line first in the opening race before being demoted one place following a penalty.  Unfortunately they crashed out in the second run, with Paul being checked out by the medical team and later in hospital after hitting a tyre wall. The team reported no serious injuries and will monitor his recovery ahead of Round 2 at Silverstone on 5th May.

Noah competed in motocross before experiencing a spinal injury as a teenager and is now in his third season with Team BRIT, the world’s only competitive racing team of all-disabled drivers. He raced a Citroen C1 in his first year and then enjoyed a strong campaign in a BMW 240i n 2024, finishing the year with a podium place in his debut behind the wheel of the McLaren.
