Rugby Dinner brings Foundation supporters together

The Matt Hampson Foundation enjoyed a spectacular and successful evening at its annual Rugby Dinner hosted at Battersea Evolution this week.

Nearly 1,000 guests from the world of business and rugby gathered to support the Foundation at one of its biggest fundraising events of the year.

Rugby World Cup winners Will Greenwood and Martin Corry were joined by All Blacks legend Zinzan Brooke, former British & Irish Lions captain Gavin Hastings and fellow internationals Benjamin Kayser, Tom Croft, Geordan Murphy, Rory Lawson, Ugo Monye and Lee Mears, with the current generation of players represented by Billy Vunipola, Jonny May, Tom Willis, Alex Lozowski, Sean Maitland and Jack van Poortvliet among many others.

Former England international David Flatman hosted the evening, with auctioneer extraordinaire Jonny Gould and singer Laura Wright also providing entertainment.

Matt Hampson said: “It’s always great to bring together our friends from the rugby family and beyond. Their support is so important to what we do at the Foundation and I’d like to pass on our thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising and I hope they had a great evening.”
