REFEREES MAKE FOUNDATION DONATION FROM ANNUAL EVENT
Leicestershire’s rugby referees have given their support to the Matt Hampson Foundation.
Officials from the Leicestershire Rugby Union Referees Society visited the Get Busy Living Centre at Burrough-on-the-Hill in the county where a tree has been planted in tribute to Rob Knapp, a County referee who was also a supporter and fundraiser for the Foundation.
The Society made a donation of £2,000 from proceeds of the raffle at its annual dinner towards the Foundation’s work in support of young people seriously injured through sporting activity.
