PLEDGE SUPPORT FROM THE BIG HALF

The Matt Hampson Foundation is now among the charities able to receive sponsorship from participants accepted for The Big Half on the streets of London next autumn.

The Big Half 2026 has been confirmed for Sunday 6th September, with the Foundation recognised by the event’s official charity fundraising partners Enthuse, meaning any participant with a confirmed place can attach their sponsorship to the charity which supports young people following life-changing injury.

Race organisers London Marathon Events have been working with Enthuse since 2022 with almost £100m raised for charities on its official platform. Enthuse is the only platform directly integrated with all London Marathon event official apps so fundraising pages receive donations direct, making it easier for supporters to donate.

When participants register through a London Marathon Events website or platform, they have the option to create a page where they can also share updates, photos and even videos with supporters. Joint fundraising pages can also be set up for people entering in groups and there are loads of hints on the Enthuse website about getting the most out of fundraising and a Frequently Asked Questions sections to accompany guide the process.

The Foundation also has links to  other running events, including Shakespeare, Leicestershire and Hackney Half-Marathons, and Nottingham Running Festival,  and a wide selection offered by Run for Charity and Real Buzz. See our Fundraising page for more details.
