PING PROUD OF PARTNERSHIP WITH FOUNDATION TEAM
The Matt Hampson Foundation is delighted to announce a new relationship with golf equipment manufacturer PING as teamwear partner.
Based in Lincolnshire, PING Europe has already supported Foundation Golf Days and provided custom-fit equipment for several beneficiaries, and will now also supply Foundation branded teamwear.
PING Europe managing director Lisa Lovatt said: “We’ve developed a great relationship with the Matt Hampson Foundation, working with a number of its beneficiaries to provide adaptive custom-fit golf equipment that helps to inspire confidence and support them out on the course. Some of them are new to the game and others are coming back to it after an injury, but it is great to see them being able to enjoy golf.
“We’re also continuing our support of the Matt Hampson Foundation annual golf day, which will again take place at The Belfry in October.
“Here at PING, we are proud to be the new supplier for the Matt Hampson Foundation apparel and accessories, and look forward to seeing our brand positioned next to such an inspiring foundation. We have some exciting plans with them moving forward which will further strengthen the fantastic relationship we have embarked on.”
The Matt Hampson Foundation inspires and supports young people seriously injured in sporting activity. Through expert physiotherapy, specialist personal training, support, mentoring and advice at its Get Busy Living Centre, the Foundation helps young people with life-changing injuries to ‘get busy living’ again, whether helping them get back into sport, work or education or supporting them in adapting to their new life.
Announcing the new partnership, Matt Hampson OBE said: “The team at PING have become big friends of ours at the Foundation and have been very supportive in working with our beneficiaries to custom-fit adaptive equipment.
“The Foundation is all about opportunities to ‘get busy living’ and PING have been a great assistance in helping us to show that you can enjoy an active life and sport after serious injury.
“We look forward to building on this relationship as we work closely with PING going forward.”
