OLLI WINS FIRST GOLF EVENT ABROAD
Olli Ingram has won a first international golf tournament since suffering a life-changing injury in a motorbike accident in 2022 and says this is only the start of his ambitions.
A regular visitor to the Get Busy Living Centre, Olli has been back on the golf course thanks to the use of a paragolfer supported by the Foundation, the Golf Trust and Edwalton Golf Club.
He has used the paragolfer, which aids mobility and holds the player in a more upright position, to play in Foundation golf events this year including alongside his dad Dave in the Tinds versus Titch match at The Belfry.
Dave was there, too, when Olli triumphed in his first competitive outing abroad, winning at the Wheelchair Golf Tour in Mallorca. He wore his Foundation golf gear too!
“It is the most amazing week with the most amazing people,” he said on his Instagram account @olliingram. “A fantastic tournament. This is just the beginning.”
