OLIVER AND THE ORDER OF THE MARATHON
Harry Potter actor Oliver Phelps completed the New York Marathon in support of the Matt Hampson Foundation.
The actor, who played George Weasley in the film franchise, is an ambassador and long-time friend of the Foundation so when he decided to challenge himself in his marathon debut, he knew his participation would be in aid of a good cause.
“Even a busted IT band in my left knee after 0.2 miles did not stop me having an incredible time,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Massive thanks to everyone who came out to cheer me and the other thousands of runners on. Another thank-you to the kind people who donated towards the Matt Hampson Foundation.”
It was a big weekend for Oliver, too, as the second chapter of Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking presented alongside his twin brother James launched on Food Network.
