THANKS TO ALL GRAVITY FUNDRAISERS’ RIDERS AND SUPPORTERS
Gravity Fundraisers, who raised sponsorship from a Paris-to-London cycling event earlier this summer, have raised £25,000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation.
England rugby legend Dean Richards and Matt’s dad Phil Hampson were among the riders who cycled between Paris and London over a couple of days in June and Phil was joined by wife Anne at a fundraising lunch hosted at Hinckley Rugby Club to accept the cheque on the Foundation’s behalf.
The Gravity Fundraisers was set up in Hinckley more than 20 years ago to help a number of charities.
This year they have organised the ride and the rugby club lunch to raise funds for the Matt Hampson Foundation which supports young people after life-changing injury and 4Ed in support of Ed Slater, the former Leicester Tigers and Gloucester rugby player who has been diagnosed with MND.
