ANNUAL REPORT HIGHLIGHTS THE YEAR’S SUCCESSES AND ONGOING IMPACT
The Matt Hampson Foundation has published its Impact Report for 2024, including the stories and the figures behind its work with young people following life-changing injury, together with future plans to extend its Gets Bury Living Centre.
The Foundation team delivered more than 4,000 rehabilitation and wellbeing sessions during the year, including specialist physiotherapy and gym training, counselling and adaptive yoga, while also welcoming 29 new beneficiaries.
“Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to expand and enhance the support we offer, ensuring that we continue to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” says Foundation chief executive Tommy Cawston in the new 32-page Impact Report.
Thanking fundraisers and advocates for their continued support, he adds: “The belief and pride so many of you show in the Foundation continue to inspire us. Together, we are creating life-changing opportunities for those who need them most.”
Matt Hampson created the organization following a life-changing accident aged just 20. At the end of 2024, Matt celebrated his 40th birthday and this March marks 20 years since the event which changed his life and its impact on others.
In line with these landmarks, Matt has plans to extend the Get Busy Living Centre in Leicestershire to support even more beneficiaries while also expanding the Foundation’s reach with regional hubs in other areas of the country.
