OLLI SO PROUD OF NATIONAL SUCCESS ON THE GOLF COURSE
Olli Ingram has followed up a first-ever medal at the Handigolf British Championship with overall victory at the Golf Trust Disabled Open.
Since his return to golf a year ago, Matt Hampson Foundation beneficiary Olli has achieved a number of notable results including topping his category in a European event in 2023 as well as training as a community golf instructor.
Following a disrupted start to his year, he finished third overall at the Handigolf championship played at The Cambridgeshire, completing the podium places behind regular medallists Phil Meadows and Terry Kirby.
“I have had a tough year and a big recovery – I am so proud of myself,” he posted on social media.
And just a week later, he improved again to top a 60-strong field with 53 points in the Golf Trust Disabled Open at The Shire London in Barnet to add his name to the trophy.
“Overall winner – it’s been the best day,” he said.
