NOAH COSBY

Noah was training on his motocross bike just after the pandemic when an accident left him paralysed from the waist down but, rather than slow him down, he is back in the fast lane of four-wheel motorsport.

Aged just 16 at the time of his accident, Noah hit his first goal of getting through his ‘A’ Levels and then focused on his rehabilitation as well as finding his fire for life and sport again. He became a regular visitor to the Get Busy Living Centre where he met fellow beneficiary Aaron Morgan, a Team BRIT GT4 driver who experienced a similar injury many years ago

A connection was made through a passion for motorsport and Aaron arranged a visit to the team which led to an invitation for Noah to join as a rookie driver. He did well enough in his first season racing Citroen C1 cars to be rewarded with a place in their 500-horsepower BMW M240i and then progressed to a McLaren in the Britcar Championship. In 2026, Noah takes over the wheel of a new BMW at GT4 level.

Noah is also part of the Foundation’s Athlete Development Programme and says: “I’m very competitive and always want to be the best I can when I try something.

“Ever since I came to the Centre, I’ve felt really comfortable, being here relating to other people who are literally getting busy living. Being involved in the programme too helps me physically and mentally, and it is all helping with my racing.”
