FUNDRAISING MUSICAL NIGHT POSTPONED
A ‘Night of Musicals’ in Great Bowden near Market Harborough scheduled for 17th October in support of the Matt Hampson Foundation has been postponed.
Following the success of his fundraising event in 2024, long-time supporter Eddy Crowe is planning to again bring together local talent at St Peter and St Paul’s Church to perform songs old and new from the musicals. Unfortunately, this will now have to wait for a re-arranged date in 2027.
Eddy says: “The concert in 2024 was a great success and we raised more than £2,000 for the Matt Hampson Foundation. It also gave people the chance to hear some of the amazingly talented performers we have in the Harborough area.
“For anyone who is unaware of the work of the Foundation, Matt Hampson has been a truly inspirational figure. After suffering a life-changing injury while training with the England Under-21 rugby team, Matt has devoted his life to helping others in the same situation.”
