FOUNDATION FUNDRAISING ONLINE AUCTION
Here’s your chance to own a piece of sporting history during the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia while also helping the Matt Hampson Foundation to support young people following life-changing injury.
Celebrating the Matt Hampson Foundation’s selection as an Official Charity Partner of the British & Irish Lions in 2025 and coinciding with the squad’s tour to Australia, we are hosting an online auction of a range of collectibles featuring some of the biggest names in the game with all proceeds supporting the Foundation’s work with young people following life-changing injury in sport.
Matt Hampson, a young professional rugby player with Leicester Tigers and England Under-21s when he was paralysed in a collapsed scrum, created the Foundation to help other young people following catastrophic injury.
The Foundation’s Get Busy Living Centre in Leicestershire provides services including specialist physiotherapy, personal training, well-being and mentoring. Just seven years after its opening, Matt has plans to extend its facilities to keep up with demand while also developing regional hubs to reach even more beneficiaries.
Rugby items in our online fundraising auction include:
- British & Irish Lions memorabilia from previous tours
- Ball signed by the 2025 Lions squad before their departure for Australia
- There’s even a bespoke armchair upholstered with Lions shirts!
- There are other rugby shirts too including items signed by Dean Richards, Tom Youngs and Ken Owens
- You could even own an incredible original artwork created by Ben Mosley, official artist of the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour
As the Foundation welcomes beneficiaries from all sporting backgrounds, there are also items for fans of other sports:
- Formula 1 artwork by Paul Oz
- Signed photos of British sporting legends Ian Botham and Frank Bruno
- Foundation PING golf bag package
Or make a bid on:
- Work created by artist Henry Fraser who was the Foundation’s first-ever beneficiary
- Treat yourself and a group of friends to places at the Foundation’s star-studded golf day at The Belfry or the best Rugby Dinner of the year
The auction is open now and will run throughout the three-match Test series against Australia.
