The Hambo Throwdown – the first adaptive fitness event exclusively for wheelchair users – returns with plans for an even bigger and better event in 2025 in a new home at Loughborough University’s Powerbase gym.

This presents a chance to compete in one of the UK’s greatest training facilities for athletes of all standards and experience. There are five seated divisions – up from four in 2024 – with hip function, without hip function, without core function, quad 1 and quad 2.
