EARLY SUMMER SUCCESSES FOR DEVELOPMENT ATHLETES
Beneficiaries on the Tindall Athlete Development Programme have enjoyed a positive start to the summer with some notable achievements already.
Named in honour of Matt Hampson Foundation Patron and former England rugby international Mike Tindall, the programme provides specialist tailored support for a select number of beneficiaries each year.
Notable performances already include Josh’s victory in the wheelchair race at the Swansea Half-Marathon in a time of 1 hour 5 minutes and Will’s top-10 finish in his Para-Climbing World Cup debut in Innsbruck as he also became the first GB competitor in the AL-1 class (upper body only).
Noah gained a first-ever pole position in the Britcar Championship round at Silverstone and Taylor raced in his first national para-canoeing event in July.
Dan, another member of the programme, is preparing for the British Disability Shooting Championships.
