DAVY SET UP FOR BUSY SUMMER OF RAISING FUNDS AND AWARENESS
Matt Hampson Foundation beneficiary David Scott has some more events planned this summer in support of the MND community.
Davy joined the Foundation’s MND programme following his diagnosis in 2024 and has set several challenges over the last 12 months including the Three Peaks and a climb of Ben Nevis to raise funds for MND research as well as increasing awareness of the condition. Now he has two more events lined up for coming months.
First, there is the MND Cycle Challenge from Barmouth to Yarmouth (12th-14th June), with more than 50 riders covering 320 miles over three days on a route from West Wales to Wolverhampton, Leicester, Peterborough and on to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.
Then on 5th July, St Andrews FC in Leicester hosts MND Fest, a family-friendly event with music, activities and entertainment for all ages, dedicated to raising awareness for MND while celebrating the community spirit that surrounds this cause.
See Davy’s website for more details and information on both events and help to make a difference for the MND community.
